Innovation, Growth, Expansion Highlight Aleyant's First Decade
September 14, 2015. Wheaton IL. Aleyant, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, today announced it acquired San Francisco-based Keen’s web-to-print business. Aleyant’s acquisition includes Keen’s web-to-print technology platform, web-to-print customers and their name, logo, and brand. Current Keen web-to-print customers will be able to transition to Aleyant’s award-winning PresseroTM web-to-print platform. Aleyant will also take over Keen’s Web2Award-winning “Print Is Big” industry promotion campaign. The PrintMo marketplace service is not part of this transaction and will continue to operate as a separate service.
“We welcome Keen customers to the Aleyant family and hope to meet some of them in person during GraphExpo, where we will be exhibiting in Booth #439,” said Greg Salzman, Aleyant’s President, “The Keen web-to-print software has some interesting technology, which of course we will be exploring.”
Founded in 2010 by Vitaly M. Golomb, Keen Systems is venture capital-backed by 500 Startups, IDG-Accel and other investors. Like Aleyant, Keen is a fellow recipient of Printing Industry of America’s InterTech Technology Award for Innovative Excellence (2012) – an award given to truly innovative companies that are expected to advance the performance of the graphic communications industry. Keen was recognized for its pioneering multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service approach and its advances in user interface design.
“We’ve gotten to know Greg and his team at Aleyant over the years and more recently,” Golomb said. “I couldn’t be happier to work with them in this transition. I’m confident our customers have a bright future in Aleyant’s family as the industry further modernizes and evolves.” Going forward Vitaly M. Golomb will expand his ongoing entrepreneurship ecosystem initiatives in US and Europe.
